J.Crew Spring 2013 Wishlist

So, what do you think of my picks? As you can tell, I am a sucker for vibrant colors. I am sad that none of the shoes I want come in 10.5, but they will probably run so small that I'll need an 11 anyway!

The new tresco floral is just to die for, but is it too bright? I think the pants may be WAY too much... but I still want them. My 17 or even 22 year old self is snickering at me.

I saw the feather ring in person and it is very pretty. Much more sparkly than it looks in the website photos!

What I love most about this rollout, ignoring some of the complete fails (ok, not totally ignoring, just look at how horrible these are), is that alot of it reminds me of Spring 2008, which was one of my favorite J.Crew seasons.

What are you loving from the latest J.Crew rollout?

    1. Me too. I heard there is a mini in the tresco floral, so I may get that instead of, or in addition to, the pants!

  2. As I mentioned on JCA, I bought the navy Sailor Pants and the Traced Medallion Sera top that you have shown above. Will report back if the sizing/quality is wonky. Other things on my wishlist now after taking a good look at the rollout are the Boy Shirts in White Dot and Mint Strawberry Plaid (yes, because of the name), the Chambray Shirtdress, and the Postage Stamp Sailor Mini in Poppy. I've been really disappointed in their dresses for going on 2 years now (I am too tall for those short waists and short hems), so I'm hoping the tide will turn soon.

    1. Love the strawberry plaid name! It is so enticing. I am also avoiding their dresses lately, too bad.

  4. Though I have those pants in a polyvore set called Craziness, I actually like them a lot and will likely pounce when they go to sale. ;)

    1. LOL. I am going to go seek out that set. And yeah, they are wishlisted for sale for me. It is one of the perks of being tall and at least somewhat thin (or, like you, small and thin!) that we can wear ridiculous pants without feeling self conscious. Or maybe that just means we're crazy. I am not sure!

  7. The traced medallion sera is ADORABLE - definitely need to hunt that down.

Side question - I was searching JCA for length/sizing info on the foly dress and you mentioned that you have it. How does it fit? I'm petite but some things have been SO short on me lately that I'm scared of factory final sale now!!

    1. P, it should work for you being petite! I really liked it, but it emphasized my shoulders too much so I ended up selling it on eBay. It was above the knee on me, but not much, and the fabric is gorgeous. I am so sorry for the delayed response; somehow I missed your comment!

    1. Me too. I am kicking myself for not ordering it during the 40% off promo yesterday.
